How much does a move cost?
Moving costs depend on several factors: distance, amount of items, services needed, and timing. Contact us for a free, personalized quote.
Do you charge for estimates?
No, all our estimates are free with no obligation. For larger moves, we can provide an in-home estimate for the most accurate pricing.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. We provide transparent, itemized quotes. Any additional services are discussed and approved before we start.
When and how do I pay for my move?
You will pay after the service is rendered if it is a local move (unless there are special circumstances). You will pay upon delivery if it is a long distance move. We accept cash, cashier's check, card (credit card payments are subject to additional charge of 3%).
Booking & Scheduling
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving season (May-September). However, we can often accommodate last-minute moves when available.
Can I change my moving date?
Yes, you can reschedule with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Last-minute changes may incur a fee depending on circumstances.
Do you offer weekend and evening moves?
Yes, we offer moves 7 days a week including evenings. Weekend and evening moves may have different availability, so book early.
Moving Day
What should I do to prepare for moving day?
Have everything packed and ready, clear pathways, disassemble beds if possible, and have payment ready. We'll send a checklist when you book.
Do I need to be present during the move?
Someone 18 or older must be present at both the pickup and delivery locations to direct the crew and sign paperwork.
What items can't you move?
We cannot move hazardous materials, perishables, plants, or pets. Firearms must be transported separately. We'll discuss any restrictions during your quote.
Insurance & Protection
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes, all moves include basic valuation coverage at no extra cost. We also offer full value protection for additional peace of mind.
What happens if something is damaged?
Report any damage within 24 hours. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly, whether through repair, replacement, or settlement.
Do you handle valuable or fragile items?
Yes, we have experience with pianos, antiques, artwork, and other specialty items. Let us know about valuable items when you request your quote.
